Because fresh celebration cakes are delicate structural confections vulnerable to heat and sudden motion, CAKIESS does not outsource delivery to third-party open-air parcel networks. Every cake is transported in our specialized temperature-stabilized cold carriers by trained studio delivery riders across Tiruchirappalli (Trichy).

2. Designated Time Windows

While we make every effort to arrive within your selected window, slight delays may occur during peak festival traffic or heavy monsoon downpours. Our tracking page provides live milestone updates.
3. Doorstep Handover & 4-Digit Security OTP
To prevent misplacement and ensure your cake is handed to the rightful recipient in pristine condition, every order generates an automated 4-digit delivery verification OTP visible in your order dashboard and dispatched to the customer phone number.
Our rider will ask for this code verbally at your doorstep before unboxing the cake carrier. Please inspect the cake carefully at the moment of handover.
4. Recipient Unavailability Protocol
If the recipient cannot be contacted upon rider arrival:
- The rider will hold at the location for up to 15 minutes while our dispatch desk attempts phone contact.
- If unreachable, the cake will be returned to our chilled studio storage at 4°C to preserve freshness and avoid melting.
- The customer may pick up the cake at our studio location within 24 hours at no additional fee, or schedule a secondary delivery attempt subject to a nominal re-dispatch fee.
