Cancellation Policy

Because every cake crafted at CAKIESS is prepared fresh to order with dedicated raw ingredients, fresh botanicals, and bespoke piping, our cancellation windows depend strictly on our kitchen baking milestones.
1. Kitchen Production Milestones & Cutoff Windows
Up to 12 Hours Before Delivery Window
Eligible for full cancellation and 100% refund if requested at least 12 hours prior to the start of the scheduled delivery time slot.
Up to 48 Hours Before Event Date
Custom cakes require advance sourcing of specialty botanicals, Belgian cocoa, and hand-sculpted sugar figures. Cancellations must be received at least 48 hours prior to delivery.
2. When Cancellations Cannot Be Accepted
Once a cake enters active production, ingredients cannot be salvaged or restocked. Therefore, cancellations cannot be honored when:
- Cake In The Oven (“BAKING” status): The sponge layers are baked, trimmed, and filled with perishable fresh dairy cream.
- Out for Delivery (“OUT_FOR_DELIVERY” status): The cake is packaged in our cold box and in transit with the courier rider.
- Same-Day Orders: Same-day express orders are placed directly into priority baking queues immediately upon order confirmation.
3. Studio Initiated Cancellations
In rare instances where extreme regional weather, natural disruptions, or equipment failure prevents our studio from fulfilling your order safely, our team will proactively contact you to offer a revised delivery window or an immediate 100% full refund processed automatically through Razorpay.
4. How to Submit a Cancellation Request
To cancel an order before the production cutoff:
1. Call or WhatsApp our studio coordinator directly at [SUPPORT PHONE — +91 98765 43210] with your Order Number.
2. Alternatively, email orders@cakiess.in with the subject line: “Cancellation Request: #[OrderNumber]”.
3. Once verified against our kitchen baking ledger, our team will send you a cancellation confirmation and issue the refund reversal via Razorpay.
